Tika Acharya is the Founding Executive Director of the Building Community in New Hampshire, BCNH formerly Bhutanese Community of New Hampshire.Mr. Acharya is a dynamic and versatile entrepreneur successfully leading BCNH with his concrete pathways for identity building, representation, and accomplishment.
Mr. Acharya provides over all leadership for the programs in operation and respective staffs at BCNH. His leadership has built and flourish continuous partnerships with local, regional, state and federal partners, donors, stakeholders, and well-wishers. Mr. Acharya is a trusted consultant for Business Organizations, Social Service Agencies, and Non-Profit Corporations. He burgeoned BCNH into a vibrantly growing nonprofit corporation. He owns multiple businesses here in New Hampshire and around the United States.
During his eight years at BCNH, Mr. Acharya has directed the successful implementation of more than a dozen of state, federal, and privately-funded ethnic self-help initiatives.He is a recipient of 40 under 40 class of 2013, a prestigious award from Union Leader.Mr. Acharya holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, MBA from the University of North Bengal in India. He is the NH Refugee Congress Member for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.
