Employment Services
Employment Support Services is funded by the Office of Minority Health and Refugee Affairs through the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services. Employment Assistance Program offers career readiness, job instruction, employment placement, and employment retention. As a part of the Employment Assistance Program, over 100 New Americans get a job every year.
Crafting resumes, one-on-one job counseling, assistance with job applications, job interview preparation, group sessions, and employment orientations are the key elements of this program. Building a network and partnerships with local employers, providing cultural brokering, coordinating job fairs with staffing agencies, and follow-ups script the success for the program. BCNH also supports employers and employees for job retention.
